Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor

Overview

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is one of the sensors an engine control module (ECM) uses to calculate fuel injection for optimal air-fuel ratio by continuously monitoring intake manifold pressure information.

Turbocharged engines will typically use both a MAP and a Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF).

Mass Air Flow Sensors

Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF)

Overview

The Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF), or air meter, measures the amount of air entering an engine and sends this data to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to ensure an optimal air-fuel ratio.

Without this information, ECU’s are unable to accurately control fuel injection, resulting in an engine that will either idle roughly or not at all.

The Exhaust gas temperature sensor (EGTS) measures the temperature of the exhaust gas, helping to protect critical components from overheating, as well as enhancing the DPF regeneration process.

Our sensors feature a robust design, extremely fast activation times and a broad temperature range, for a long-lasting, high performing part.

Ammonia (NH3) Sensor

Overview

The Ammonia (NH3) sensor is an exhaust sensor providing direct measurement of ammonia for Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) dosing control and On-Board diagnostics.

The sensor output can be used to provide feedback to the SCR system helping higher engine-out NOx calibration for improved fuel economy.

Oxygen (O2) Sensors

The Oxygen (O2) sensor, or lambda sensor, measures oxygen in a vehicle's exhaust. It is responsible for maintaining a balance between air and fuel for optimal emissions. Too much fuel produces hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. Too little fuel produces nitrogen-oxide pollutants.
